First Lego League Sierra Leone

In this project, we use the Lego principles to enhance students’ understanding of the basics of STEAM. Students apply their skills in an exciting collaboration while building habits of learning, confidence, and teamwork. 

Salone Jewels

This project uses chess and Scrabble games,  and STEAM resources to enhance the cognitive abilities of out-of-school and Internally Displaced Children in slum communities. Thus sparking their interest in technology while providing them with full-ride scholarships to kindergarten, primary, and junior secondary schools. 

Altruistech K-12 Impact

This project uses the Lego Discover principles to ignite natural curiosity and build the learning habits of under-8 children from primary schools. Thus providing learning with hands-on activities in the classroom and at home using LEGO® DUPLO® bricks. 

Altruistech Summer Camps

STEAM-UP Salone

This project uses the Lego First Tech challenge principles to enhance engineering thinking and robot design for young people between the ages of 16 and 25, mainly in universities.

STEAM Queens

This project aims to introduce young girls to careers in STEAM. The primary goal is to expose our target audience to a complete representation of the field of STEAM and the existing career paths. It includes prize distribution and scholarships to pursue a career in STEAM fields with one-year mentorship.

Altruistech For Refugees and Orphans

This project is designed to extend educational opportunities in STEAM and IoT to people at orphanage homes and refugee camps in Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Rwanda.
